Troll debating, flirting with violence and financial dominance, Al-Shaheen Baby Falcon hosts a eulogy and funeral honoring the fake death and teachings of Syrian Tiktok sensation Abu Shhab.
In 2022 Abu Shhab gained traction on Arab Tiktok using troll debates as a medium of research and engagement with harmful political rhetoric, the live streams opposed queer phobic followers with vulgar satire. After thousands of followers and three years of live streaming, Al-Shaheen baby falcon announces the fake death of the influencer with the show ‘RIP Abu Shhab’. Troll debating, flirting with violence and online financial domination, the show hosts a eulogy and funeral that honors the teaching and methods developed through the years by the Tiktok sensation.
Al Shaheen Baby Falcon is a Syrian bird building nests across Europe. A show girl, curator and an activist. From action work to public interventions, the bird is one of many alter egos and characters performed by conceptual artist Sarjon Azouz, whose work uses vanity as a research space in identity politics.
