REGARDING ARMENIA

February 4th 21:40-22:00 February 4th 22:20-22:40 FRAS 2

Returning to a country I thought I knew, and discovering I must learn to see it again.

Mher Brutyan: In this 20-minute solo performance, I explore my return to my homeland after 20 years through movement and poetry. I investigate how memory and reality collide, and how this collision affects my sense of identity and belonging. The work is personal, physical, and presented without conclusions.

Mher Brutyan is an actor and poet with a background in mime. His first book, Very Serious Poetry, focused on small moments and honest thoughts. His new collection, Unnecessary Notes and Poor Self-Reflection, continues that approach with direct, everyday language and a clear queer voice.

Collaborator: Tim van Dongen
