Mher Brutyan

Mher Brutyan is an actor and poet with a background in mime. His first book, Very Serious Poetry, focused on small moments and honest thoughts. His new collection, Unnecessary Notes and Poor Self-Reflection, continues that approach with direct, everyday language and a clear queer voice.

"This performance is dedicated to Armenia, the country I come from. It combines poetry and video from my first trip back after twenty years. It follows me as I meet Armenia again and try to capture that return. I hope it shows the soul and warmth of my country, for myself and for everyone watching."
