Fernando Troya - A Pelo Productions

Un-boxing masculinity and voyeurism, punch by punch.  

Fernando Troya is a Madrid-born, Amsterdam-based performer and maker. His practice centres on queer sexuality and dramaturgies. A Pelo Productions is his space to bend desire, masculinity, and vulnerability into choreographic tension. In works like We Play So Hard It Hurts and A Pelo, the body becomes a risky, unpredictable terrain.

Fernando will attempt to discover and show other sides of himself. In ways that hopefully you haven’t seen yet. The main question will be the one leading him when cruising in nature: What else is around that corner, that tree, that hill. This time asking inwards, what the heck is next, what is in me that hasn't seen the light yet. Forcing out was another potential working title, which might give you a sense of what the show will bring.
