This collaboration with Lengleng Zhang, researches through movement and sound, the question what it is to be a woman, here and now, felt and carried in our bodies.
This performance grew from a collaborative research between dancer and composer, rooted in the energies of female rage. Drawing from shared and individual experiences, it explores how held tension moves through the body and what happens when it finally breaks free. Female rage, often silenced or suppressed, finds voice through movement and sound, transforming restraint into force, and what is usually contained, into presence, power and freedom.
