Ciro Goudsmit is an artist fascinated by vibrations, he started with club and street styles before exploring the impact of sound on the body as a choreographic tool. His work focuses on discovering personal rhythm through sensitivity to drum patterns and body tremors. This exploration comes from the desire to understand the inner body in relation to the physical world around us; to re-understand identity by adopting "mixedness" as a style of making.
He stages his research by immersing audiences in embodied soundscapes, encouraging them to amplify sensations and "become speakers."
