Junadry Leocaria is a choreographer and dancer with a unique style that effortlessly blends emotion and dynamism. Her professional career began at the age of 18 with ISH Dance Collective, where her passion for dance and theater flourished. Leocaria has developed her own expressive dance style, combining traditional Afro-Caribbean dance forms with influences from the club and urban scenes. In 2023, Junadry won the Innovation Award from the Nederlandse Dansdagen in Maastricht. This incentive award highlights innovative developments and talented creators. Through her work, she explores themes such as diaspora, the history of slavery, intimacy, and healing.
